The RW Takeaway: The Aday Fast Forward Bra is one that can stand up to HIIT sessions, layer for a run, and stay put during downward dog. It’s a bra you can wear all day for support without discomfort.
- Compression is tight, but not too tight—it provides the perfect hold
- Thick straps provide support without digging in
- Despite being longer in length than many sports bras it doesn’t ride up
Sizes: XS to L
Colors: Black, White and Light Grey
When it comes to sports bras, I like something that can marry comfort, support, and style. I like bras that are high impact without annoying cups, clasps, or straps you have to resize—these kinds of bras inevitably end up digging into me from some angle or make me feel suffocated. I want support, but not too much. Which is why I was so happy when I found this Aday Fast Forward Bra. It delivers on all my criteria.
No Digging In, Anywhere
The wide straps are a soft elastic that seriously makes you forget you have on a bra, and they don’t leave annoying marks from digging in.
At first, I was nervous about the longer line of the bra, but I found it didn’t jab into my ribs or ride up. The bra stayed put while I was running, sprinting, and lifting weights. I was so secure and comfortable running in it that I even made it a part of my half marathon uniform (along with these chafe-proof shorts) when I ran in a race in South Dakota last summer.
Wicks Sweat and Dries Quick
I’ve worn this bra running both in the sun and under a jacket or to HIIT classes where I’ve gotten very sweaty, and then gone out with a friend for coffee after. You know how sweat can really pool in a bra and make you need to change out of it immediately? Not in this bra.

When I work out, I get sweaty enough sometimes I’m embarrassed to show myself in public before a shower, but the quick-drying fabric of the bra ensures that you don’t totally look like you’re soaked in sweat. Still, I was ready to change when I got home, but I also didn’t feel so uncomfortable I needed to skip the coffee shop to head right to the shower.
Comfort and Style
I don’t always want to run sans shirt, but the length of the bra with high-waisted pants makes me feel comfortable enough to do so. Plus, the fabric boasts UV protection. And, I have to admit, I threw this bra on with a pair of high-waisted pants and a leather vest and have worn it to multiple concerts—and gotten many compliments. It’s seriously so comfortable, if I could get away with wearing it at all times, I would.
