Hey, Runner’s World team. Want one of these sweet RW cotton T-shirts? Of course you do.

Earlier this month, the Runner’s World team raced the New Balance 5th Avenue Mile media heat against other news organizations, including the New York Times. We have a fierce rivalry with the runners at the Times and, though outnumbered, we put up a strong showing this year, boasting the top male and female finishers. We also flexed our cotton tees.

I’m a big fan of running in cotton tees. I grew up running without any special wicking gear, and I always say, if it’s too hot for a cotton T-shirt, then it’s too hot for a shirt. Think I’m kidding? Think again. I ran the Boston Marathon in October 2021 in a cotton RW tee.

So, this year, with the creative help from our senior art director Colin McSherry, I screen-printed these tees in my basement. That’s also Colin’s ingenious slogan on the back: “Yeah, it’s cotton.”

And now, I want to do the same for you: I’ll randomly select a few Runner’s World+ members and personally screen-print your cotton T-shirt by hand. My mission is to spread the cotton gospel, one tee at a time!

If you’re a Runner’s World+ member, all you have to do is head to this page and drop your name in the form.
